Goodbye FLCS. Hello Amazima!
This was my last week as a teacher at Forest Lake Christian School. What a gift it has been!
Over the past four years I've been blessed by the wonderful families and amazing teachers and staff that make up our little school. I've been prayed for, mentored, challenged, encouraged, caffeinated π, and given many generous gifts. It's been difficult to pack up and say goodbye to such a supportive family, but it's time. Thank you to my FLCS family for your encouragement and support as I pursue God's calling on my life. I'll continue to pray for you from my side of the world!
While I'm saying goodbye to my FLCS family, I'll be saying hello to new coworkers at a training in Georgia this week. I'm looking forward to meeting and connecting with my new team as we spend the better part of the week preparing for what to expect in Uganda.
I'm excited...and a little nervous! As most of you know, this is happening a little sooner than I had anticipated (July vs. January), and a lot has been happening very quickly. I've been ending the school year while raising support and saying goodbye to my friends here in California. It has felt overwhelming and daunting, but God continues to remind me to trust in Him. He has used so many of you to encourage me with your financial support, prayers, excitement, and affirming words and letters. I am beyond blessed and so incredibly grateful.
Thank you for your continued prayer and support during this next step of preparation. God bless!
