Week One in Jinja
Hello friends and family,
I've been in Uganda for a little over a week! I'm learning so much and have had many opportunities to explore the town of Jinja. I'm struck daily with the realization that it is such a gift to be here. Thank you for all of the support and prayers that have made it possible!
We will finally have the opportunity to visit the primary school campus in Buzika on Thursday. I'm so excited!!! It appears that it will be a while before we can run school normally, but Amazima is hoping to find a way to run a holiday schedule now that lockdown is over. Please pray for the leaders of Amazima as they try to figure out how best to serve the community during this time. We're ready to serve, but we need wisdom on how best to do that.Thank you for your prayers, emails, texts, and WhatsApp messages that have helped me feel loved, supported, and prayed for. I'm so thankful for my team of faithful supporters!

I bought a car today! Please pray for me as I learn to drive on the "wrong" side of the bumpy dirt roads. It's going to be a learning curve.π
